013 -Reclaimed Heart Matai End Graincutting Board
SIZE 485x300mm 41mm Thick
Beautifully handcrafted from reclaimed New Zealand heart Matai, this is one of our full-size endgrain cutting boards, designed to take a proud position on a kitchen bench for both preparation and display.
The board features our classic basket weave pattern, highlighting the beautiful Golden tones and distinct grain of Heart Matai.
The timber was salvage from an old construction beam and has certainly been well seasoned over it’s previous life rather than allowing such beautiful native timber to be lost we have been privileged to give it a new purpose-preserving a small piece of West Coast New Zealand for many years to come.
Carefully handcrafted and finished in our own Wax N Wood food safe wood butter, this is an individual piece made to be used treated eventually passed on.
